Bringing a whole new dimension to the event, the 2016 Brecon Jazz Weekend is privileged to present the Gui Tavares Trio in concert

at Brecon Cathedral from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm on Sunday 14 August.


Led by outstanding Brazilian guitar/vocalist, hotfoot from his work with Tina May at the Guildhall on Saturday evening, outstanding Brazilian guitarist/vocalist Gui Tavares will be supported by bass guitar wizard Wayne Warlow and percussion master Cliff Prior in performing some of the best latin jazz to be heard anywhere. Their programme will include authentic bossa novas and sambas as well as a raft of popular latin standards and original material. With an accumulated experience of over a century as leading professional musicians, quality is guaranteed.
